Ok why does the editor put the pictures above my text after I put the text first.

Note to self find a better way to upload posts with photos!

Or get used to drag and drop hey it’s not so bad.

O0ps it occurs to me that I spoke too soon as the nest photo is hung somewhere in net space and won’t complete the download after about 5min. (actually never got here)

Every time I figure out how to fix one problem something else breaks Ex: chmod’ed

the wp-content folder to 777 to enable file uploads. Whereupon, the very first file

exceeds the “upload_max_filesize” Aggghhhh ! Ok Ok

put down the Axe. Alright I’ll just zip on over to my cpanel and locate the php.ini but

this is not a terminal window or putty this is the great and powerful cpanel and I haven’t

yet learned how to make all the files show up, hey lets try FileZilla still No php.ini check

settings ahhh set preferences to always show hidden files……No still no php.ini well I

guess that this file is going to be really difficult to edit. <Note to self: check into this

later on> Went back to the PSE and reduced the file size of the picture of my baby

daughter (Annie) having a snack so that I could fit into this post.

I am trying to get this plugin working it requires a table in my DB….’my data_base.wp_pre_publish_reminders’…. No problemo I can do that with my handy dandy MySQL aplication……….except it won’t let me just create an empty Table it wants me to define the the fields. Not really sure but there is nothing I can see any thing that would help me define the table in any of the code or documentation for that plugin. I know nothing about MySQL and very little about PHP. I am hosting this at ANHosting which is a new host for me so the whole Blogging thing is pretty confusing right now.
Anyway:

I think the plugin is in the right place? @ / public_html / wp-content / plugins / pre-publish-reminders

But I get the following: WordPress database error: [Table 'mydatabase_wrdp1.wp_pre_publish_reminders' doesn't exist]
SELECT Reminder_ID, Reminder_Text, Reminder_Background_Color, Reminder_Text_Color, Reminder_Order, Is_Bold, Is_Italic FROM wp_pre_publish_reminders ORDER BY Reminder_Order

Downloaded and unpacked a bunch of plugins using Filezilla all seemed to go well but the plugins would not show up in the plugins managment tab. I removed all of them and started to reinstall paying careful attention to the upload which failed several times but I finally got one to load.

Thanks to a moderator at WP I was able to get my API. I kept looking for it at WP.org they talk about it but it is actually located at WP.com amazing what a difference three little letters can make.  Now on to adsense code.

I’m not sure what the problem is but right now I can’t make any progress continuing to configure my blog. Specifically adding plugins I can’t find my API key which is required for the plugins to work. I have an accout at WP which will let me logon. While in support I go to a post “Where is my API key” it has a link which takes me to another logon box which will not accept my user name?

Confused

Pen Boss

Well we made it back in one piece from the Caribbean but this is not destined to be one of my favorite trips. First I forgot to pack my battery charger and so I had to buy batteries for the cameras. Then the resort we booked was built on the side of a mountain, real easy to walk down to the beach but a exhausting walk back to the room. The wifi would not work in the room that left the pool area to do photo editing and posting. It was so bright there I could not see the screen well enough to do anything. What the heck we went there for the good weather. I’ll get something posted soon.

Well I’m back for a short while. We will be leaving tomorrow for Sint Maarten.
It’s not nearly soon enough for me. I’ll send a link to some pictures when they
get posted.

After getting back from Hawaii I found out I had diabetes and have been studying all about that. I have been having trouble keeping my blood glucose down. I am thinking about changing the focus of the blog. But am not really sure I don’t like diabetes and I do like photography travel and pets. But it looks like I’m going to have to deal with this diabetes for the long haul and I might find a way to use the blog as a learning or even a teaching tool.
